How Shrinkopedia is made
Every page on Shrinkopedia is written in plain language and reviewed by clinicians before it is published. Each page names the editorial team that reviewed it and shows the date it was last reviewed.
The pages are built from real, named sources: the DSM-5-TR, the National Institute of Mental Health, the World Health Organization, peer-reviewed research, and clinical guidelines from bodies such as the American Psychiatric Association and NICE. Every page lists its references.
Shrinkopedia is written to be accurate first. When the evidence is strong, the page says so. When it is mixed or still developing, the page says that too. Pages are updated as the evidence changes.
Shrinkopedia is part of the Shrink Network and is published by shrinkMD Publishing. It does not run ads and does not sell your data.
